Cornerstone Society

Members of the Cornerstone Society have a vision of St. Mary’s long-term financial health; having made a provision for St. Mary’s General Hospital in their estate.

Members of the Cornerstone Society are recognized by name on the Donor Recognition wall located in the main hospital lobby and are annually invited to a very special education luncheon event.

Have you thought about what your legacy will be?

Charles & Elaine Grierson wanted to give back for the wonderful care Charles received at St. Mary's during his open heart surgery and subsequent recovery.

Rev. Judith Harris is forever grateful for the care her late husband received at St. Mary's and understands the importance of giving back to local healthcare.

Karl J. Fox was born at SMGH and wants to give back, thanks to his positive experiences with the hospital and Foundation over the years.

Len Budden wants to give back to SMGH in honour of his wife, Audrey, who volunteered at the hospital for over 20 years.

Elaine & Roland Rees are longtime supporters of SMGH. Elaine volunteered at the hospital for over 20 years and was a Foundation board member for 6 years.

Many members tell us the real benefit of planned giving lies in the opportunity to offer a gift far more substantial than they imagined possible. In addition, this level of philanthropy puts the member’s values into action, and makes each one a role model for the community.

If you have made a provision for St. Mary’s General Hospital in your estate and financial plans, please let us know.
